Volkswagen... It’s history starts way back in 1937, and its first factory was purpose built in 1938 in a new town called Wolfsburg. Only a handful of cars were produced before war broke out. After the war, under the guidance of the British Army, Beetles started production. From a traumatic start, the company stood the test of time, producing many iconic cars, that today, have become very collectable.
The bodywork design of early models is straightforward, and models have been constructed with fairly robust steel. That said, some of these cars are now fifty-plus years old and do require restoration. There is good support for the body panels, and we can construct anything that isn’t available.
