Restoration Description
A very rare Mercedes Benz saloon, the 300 SE. A very obvious period Mercedes, German engineering, but with a touch of true elegance, in convertible form!
This mid-sized saloon was a very complete car and truly cherished by it’s owner. This very original model did need extensive restoration work. This included sills, wheel arches, doors and boot lid. Of particular note were the front wings. These need extensive work to remove the rust, fabrication of repair sections, welding and finishing. All on a complex area, with exacting curves.
